The Millers are proud to announce the availability of our 2017 “Drive 4 Five” T-shirt. Please visit the gear page to get yours today!
Today is Giving Tuesday, a day for giving back during the winter holiday season. We ask that all our players, fans, and friends, give generously this year. Here are some suggestions.
Donating to the Millers is tax deductable and your gifts help us to purchase equipment and uniforms, travel to far-away tournaments, and reach out to blind and visually impaired youth who may not have had the chance to try adaptive sports. Simply use the donate link on www.mnmillers.org to send us your financial gift by mail or electronically through paypal. If a financial gift is impossible, though, then consider giving your time.
Our parent organization, the Minnesota Fighting Lions Association (MFLA), would like to expand our youth program by offering a summer-long opportunity for blind and visually impaired youth to play beep kickball and beep baseball. To make this possible, we need at least four adult volunteers and 12 youth participants. No prior experience is necessary, just use the contact form on www.mnmillers.org to let us know you’re interested and we’ll help you get started.
Finally, if you know a blind or visually impaired child, give them your love and attention. Many children with disabilities are isolated or even bullied. Your presence in their lives will make a greater impact than you can imagine.
